We take every possible measure to ensure your storage space is protected, 24/7.
To that end, we’re always investing – and reinvesting – in safety and security initiatives like:
- Strong security gates surrounding the premises
- Sophisticated individual key code entry
- Ongoing video surveillance
- Entry and exit tracking programs
Nothing is more important than making sure our customers’ belongings are in the same condition as when they stored them with us.
Abandonment protection
Sometimes, people will store something with us in our outdoor storage facilities (like a car).
And then, they’ll just leave the car there without paying for the rental.
When that happens, we need to remove the car in order to free up that space for someone who intends to use it legitimately.
This costs money. And since the individual who abandoned the vehicle in the first place is nowhere to be found, it’s up to the business to cover that cost.
Sad but true.
Insurance
There’s a story of a potential customer visiting a storage facility and when he was told the price, he responded with:
“Why are you charging anything at all? It’s just free land.”
Firstly, there’s no such thing as free land.
Secondly, running a storage facility is a business.
And just like any business, it needs to be insured from things like:
- Theft
- Weather damage
- Fire damage
- Accidents
- Injuries
Something else to consider is that, at any time, a storage facility can be housing hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars in personal property.
It’s up to that facility to make sure that everything – from the smallest 5×8 storage unit to the biggest RV storage spot – is protected and insured at all times.

Over time, they’re subjected to wear and tear.

- Repainting any parking lines we may have
- Repaving any concrete or asphalt areas
- Fixing old, damaged or worn out doors
- Cleaning empty units
