Happy Holidays! Looking Back at 2017 & Ahead to 2018
Can you believe that it’s already December? It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the arrival of 2017.
However you plan on celebrating the holidays, the team at Ten Mini Storage wishes that it’s safe, fun and memorable for you and your family.
We’d also like to thank our great customers for making 2017 such a success.
As New Year’s approaches, it seems like a good time to look back at the year that was and ahead to the next year.
Many customers complimented how convenient it is to have a selection of ready-to-rent, high-quality Penske trucks in the same location where they store their personal belongings.
In case you missed it, there are three types of vehicles available for you to rent:
- Cube vans
Plus, the fleet of Penkse trucks are available for either personal or commercial transporting needs.
Thanks to everyone who took advantage of our rental trucks. It was our pleasure to offer this new, helpful service to you in 2017.
Ten Storage has been proudly serving Caledon and surrounding communities since 1977.
And not a week goes by where someone doesn’t ask “aren’t all storage spaces the same?” or say “what’s makes you different from the other guys?”
That’s why, in March, we offered our new FREE download, The Self-Storage Facility Scorecard.
It’s an easy-to-use checklist which lets you compare various self-storage companies in 7 important categories:
- Customer service
- Manager availability
- Pest management
- Unit size variety
It’s a must-have resource when you’re researching secure storage companies near you.
Self-storage tips for the holidays
With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s easy to lose track of what you currently have inside your storage unit.
It’s also easy to quickly fill up your unit (or house, for that matter) with things like Christmas decorations, gifts and more.
Here are some helpful self-storage tips to get you through the holidays:
- Create an “open first” box: This box should have everything you need at the start of the holiday season. Decorations. Gift wrapping. Cards. Recipes. That way, you’ll know which box to pull out to kick off the holidays.
- Invest in a tree bag: The original box your Christmas tree came in is probably old and beat up. Tree bags are large enough to fit any size tree. They’re easy to carry (like a giant duffel bag), tough (so they won’t rip) and waterproof.
- Wrap Christmas lights around a coffee can: Untangling lights can test even Santa’s patience. If you wrap them around a circular can, there’s no chance the wires will get twisted. It also makes unwrapping them a snap.
- Make a list: If you’re creating gift lists and recipe lists, you might as well draft a self-storage list. You can divide it into multiple categories. For example, “things to bring home”, “things to store” and “new items for the storage unit.”
